The European Commission opened a public consultation from 14 July to 20 September 2021 on its Inception Impact Assessment on simplification of labels and e-labelling (addressing the CLP, Detergents and Fertilising Products Regulations). DUCC submitted its input to this consultation, calling for clearer, "user-relevant" labels and supporting digitalisation as a means to enhance communication.
